Installation guide

Requirements

• PHP 8.1 or later.
• Apache 2.4 or compatible LiteSpeed with mod_rewrite and AllowOverride All.
• PHP GD for image uploads and working PHP mail for the contact form.

Install

1. Download the CMS and extract the ZIP.
2. Upload the contents of d3x0-webhost/ to your hosting folder. Include hidden .htaccess files. A domain root or subfolder works.
3. Open /install/ at your site address.
4. Check the site URL, choose a theme, enter your contact recipient and sender addresses, and create an admin account.
5. Sign in at /admin/ to edit pages, arrange the menu and change settings.

The installer creates config/config.php and then closes automatically. Give the PHP service user write access to the content, configuration and upload folders as described in the included README.

Before sharing your site

Check that /content/pages/home.md returns 403 or 404. Test the contact form and confirm the message reaches your inbox.

Backups and updates

Back up configuration, content and uploaded media. When updating, preserve config/config.php and your existing content and uploads. The package README contains the full folder and hosting instructions.
