What is d3x0 CMS?

A CMS helps you change website content without editing templates for every update. With d3x0 CMS, you sign in through your browser, write a page, choose whether it is published and decide where it appears in navigation. The CMS turns that content into public web pages.

Who is it for?

It suits a personal homepage, a compact portfolio, a project information site or a collection of short articles. It is designed around a small website managed through one configured admin account.

The included edition does not provide a shop, customer accounts, a multi-author workflow or a full blogging system. Choose it when its simple page and file model fits the site you want to maintain.

How it works

  1. Install: upload the files to compatible PHP hosting and run the one-time installer.
  2. Write: create Markdown pages in the admin editor and upload images or documents.
  3. Publish: save a page as published and optionally add it to the main menu.
  4. Maintain: edit through your browser and back up your content, configuration and uploads.

What hosting do you need?

Use PHP 8.1 or later with Apache 2.4 or compatible LiteSpeed hosting. The server must support the bundled .htaccess routing and access rules. Image uploads need PHP GD, and contact forms need working PHP mail. No database service is needed.

The editor has formatting controls and a preview. Markdown is also readable as plain text, so you can edit the files directly if you prefer. Raw HTML in page content is escaped.

Can I install it in a subfolder?

Yes. The CMS supports a domain root or a subfolder. The configured site URL must include the installation folder.

Is five the maximum number of pages?

No. Five is the maximum number of main menu entries. Other published pages can remain outside the menu and be reached through links.
